FireCracker Math Spring Term Class Grades 6 – 9
Firecracker Math is an enrichment program that offers after-school small groups, summer camps, and private lessons. We aim to spark children’s interest in math, deepen their knowledge and further develop their aptitude and talent.
Our curriculum focuses on the exploration and understanding of mathematical concepts and on teaching kids the skills of problem-solving and logical reasoning. We foster a creative learning environment employing experienced and enthusiastic teachers with advanced degrees in math or science. Small group size ensures close teacher-to-student interaction and attention to each child’s needs and pace of learning.
Kids are introduced to topics from number theory, geometry, combinatorics, probability, and more. We employ games, hands-on activities, and magic tricks to demonstrate and explore math concepts. Kids are encouraged to ask questions, present arguments, and reason. Students acquire problem-solving and logical thinking skills while building a solid foundation and understanding of mathematics.
In our math classes, we will show your child that math can be incredibly creative, exciting, and fun.
