Volunteer Opportunity: Storytime Club

Join PRD’s new Storytime Club program and become a mentor to young children (ages 3.5–5.5).

In partnership with Beach and Havens Minimates, Skipping Stones preschool and the Piedmont Pre-K class, volunteer readers will encourage creativity, build intergenerational connections, and help foster language development in Piedmont’s youth.

We are seeking dedicated, fun, and silly adults like you to join the Storytime Club and make a difference in the lives of children. To become a volunteer reader and learn more about this rewarding opportunity, contact Eva Phalen. All volunteers must complete a background check.

No experience necessary…just a love for reading (wacky character voices are optional!).
