Are you looking to prepare your child for the American Mathematics Competition AMC 8 competition or advance their math skills? Our 10-week-long course is designed for students in grades 6-8 and aims to promote the development of problem-solving skills in middle school mathematics. 

During our preparation course, students gain the tools to develop skills in problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creative approaches to math challenges. They explore various topics from number theory, algebra, geometry, combinatorics, probability, and more. Students apply multiple problem-solving strategies while working on AMC-style problems. We provide a low-stress, friendly environment where students can apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges. • The class is for 6-8th grade students.
• Dates: October 18 – January 10 (Breaks 11/22, 12/20, 12/27). Wednesdays at 1316 University Ave., Berkeley, or online from 4:30 pm to 6:00 p.m. once a week.
• $480 for in-person class, $450 for online class, and $55 for drop-in fee. 
• Students must register on or before Oct 17 – Dec 18, 2023, via AMC site to take the exam on January 18 – 24: https://amc-reg.maa.org/
• Students CAN participate in class but opt out of the AMC exam.
